With the autumn/winter season fast approaching, we thought it was appropriate to showcase our latest must have – the YMC x London Undercover Navajo Umbrella.
You may be wondering why we have chosen to share this particular accessory with you during what should be the hottest month of the year, but seeing as though we have had more rain than sun this year, an umbrella has actually become, I cannot believe I am saying this, season appropriate.
Combining their talents to create 2 striking designs, London-based label YMC have teamed up with weather accessories specialists London Undercover to produce a pair of Navajo inspired umbrellas, as part of their AW12 collection.
Each umbrella has a maple wood shaft and handle, as well as a special collaboration wooden logo tag.
Entitled the ‘Navajo External’ and the ‘Navajo Internal’, the names go someway to explaining the two different designs. The Navajo Internal is a more subtle take on the predominate SS12 prints trend, confining the native-American inspired print to the inside of the umbrella, with the exterior canopy comprised of a Dark Navy poly cotton. The Navajo External is the opposite. A dominant Navajo print is featured to both the interior as well as the exterior, producing quite a statement accessory.
The print utilised for both umbrellas comes in a stunning colour palette of autumnal oranges, reds and rusty shades.
Whether you want to make a statement or give a subtle nod to the prints trend, London Undercover has got you covered with this collaboration.
Retailing at £70, you can pick one up over on the London Undercover website.
