Marc Jacobs has released a small rubber bag capsule collection for spring/summer 2012, comprised of three traditional silhouettes; a backpack, a duffle bag and a tote. The pieces in this range juxtapose fabrics in the way of high quality rubber and fine mesh, with each style available in two colour ways of an on-trend blue or a gritty smokey grey. Overall, these contemporary designs are well in keeping with the often experimental Marc by Marc Jacobs off shoot brand.

The mesh on rubber combination creates a snakeskin like effect, whilst simultaneously offering a tactile element. The backpack features padded straps/back and a chunky plastic zip, adding to the already practical nature of the bag. The duffle and tote bag on the other hand, come complete with two fabric handles.
