Re-working a classic, Marc Jacobs has transformed their typical high top silhouette and produced a luxurious version for spring/summer 2012, coming in the form of this Beaded High Top.

The most stunning and distinct feature of this trainer is, of course, the extravagant and intricate bead work. This detailing can be seen on both sides of the trainer as well as down the tongue.

Constructed from hundreds of small glass beads, in three different colour ways, it is this sort of intricate detail and care which sets this trainers apart from others on the market. The high price tag of £590 can be somewhat justified, once you take into consideration the time and quality that has gone into the production of these trainers.

With the main body of the trainer being constructed from soft premium suede, the colourful glass beads not only provide an injection of colour but also a beautiful contrast of texture.
