Beautiful, distinctive shirts are everywhere nowadays – with each brand battling the other for the most sought after garments of the spring/summer 2012 season. Luxury fashion house, Burberry, step up to the challenge with their latest batch of contemporary styles, which have been influenced by that ever so strong British heritage, complete with a modern twist.
Fashion designer Christopher Bailey has constructed four beautifully crafted shirts, each completely individual and unique in their own right. Both the badge graphic shirt and the graphic–printed shirt, contain flashy, quirky patterns. The Burberry printed logo is placed onto the upper left breast of a crisp, fitted shirt. The concealed button fastening – mimicking the idea of a one buttoned shirt – is a clever design, ensuring individuality.
As all you bold fashion statesmen know, tribal prints are on show everywhere this spring. The Ikat patterned shirt, complete with an on-trend African influence, is a subtle yet striking statement piece. Further features include logo embossed buttons, long sleeves and a buttoned chest pocket with stitch detailing. The box-cut design speaks for itself.
The fourth shirt in the new collection, the Chest Pocket Slim Fit Single Cuff Shirt, is seen here at FashionBeans in a ‘Foundation’ colour. ‘Sleek and understated’ describes the garment perfectly. Providing a slimmer, tailored fit – when compared to the other pieces – it suggests this shirt is suited to more formal outfits. Unlike the rest of the shirts, the simplicity of this piece projects its fine, precise detail.
All the garments are made from high quality, 100% cotton.
