This autumn, Copenhagen’s finest – Norse Projects – have teamed up with Manchester based menswear retailer Oi Polloi to create a season appropriate capsule collection, consisting of two new items: The Kaare Anorak and the Agni Knit.
The Kaare Anorak is exactly what you would expect from the Scandinavian brand, featuring a simplistic design similar to that of its predecessor, the Nunk Jacket. Continuing to do what they excel at, the brand have once again managed to combine function with fashion and minimal detailing. This heavy duty canvas anorak has been produced to the highest construction standards utilising 100% cotton, making it extremely tough, durable and ready to tackle our typically wet English weather.
Coming complete with an enlarged front pouch, two additional pockets and adjustable hood and waistband, the anorak is available in three limited edition colour ways of: Grey, green and mustard brown.
However, the second piece from the collection – the Agni Knit – is a far cry from the classic minimalistic pieces of apparel we’re used to seeing released by Norse. It is clear that the guys over at Oi Polloi have had slightly more of an influence over the knitwear’s design, with the addition of complimentary yet distinctive canvas shoulder patches as well as a front patch pocket making a subtle statement on the classic marl lambswool chassis.
Each of the two pieces of apparel features collaborative branding, however it is the Agni Knit which boosts the custom slogan “A genuine product of Manchester and Copenhagen” stitched onto the classic Norse patch at the bottom of the garment.
On sale now, you can get your hands on both of these pieces, as well as the latest AW12 collection, over at Oi Polloi.
