Opening Ceremony London Store – A Look Inside

It wasn’t too long ago that we revealed that New York retailer/brand Opening Ceremony had plans to set up their very first European store in London’s Covent Garden, to commemorate the London 2012 Olympic Games. Today, FashionBeans has the great pleasure of showcasing internal images of the new stores vibrant design.

Having opened its doors for the first time last week, the 3,000-square-foot store has kept its promise to stock not only their own ready to wear line and accessories, but also exclusives, collaborations and limited edition pieces from the likes of Band of Outsiders, Charles Anastase, Delfina Delettrez, Christopher Shannon, House of Holland, Prism and Pamela Love.

One feature we find particularly intriguing is that the store includes a Claire de Rouen bookshop – housing a selection of handpicked rare first editions and inspiring books.

The store itself is constructed from a variety of coloured shapes, with the menswear department for the most part utilising these shapes in more masculine, strong colour ways of blacks and brown (constructed from wood), whilst the womenswear department has utilised a selection of bold and striking fresh shades of pink, green and yellow.

If you happen to be living local or paying London a visit for the Olympics, then this is definitely one store that is worth a visit.
