Our Legacy – Splash Collection: 1950s Button Down Shirt

Cristopher Nying and Jockum Hallin – the Swedish duo behind Scandinavian brand Our Legacy – have teamed up with art director Tony Cederteg to create their highly anticipated spring/summer 2012 capsule collection ‘Splash’.

The brand, praised for their relaxed, unstructured tailoring and effortless aesthetics, have utilised some of their most popular silhouettes from previous ranges into order for the Splash series to sit alongside their mainline collection with ease.

Having previously showcased Our Legacy’s SS12 lookbook to you just the other week, we thought it was only fitting to show off one of FashionBeans’ favourite pieces from the latest looks.

So without further ado let us introduce you to the 1950s Button Down Shirt:

This unique garment combines a nature-inspired abstract floral print with one of the brands most popular relaxed silhouettes. With the inclusion of mother of pearl buttons, it goes to show that the brand fails to overlook even the smallest of details.
