In 2011, the key print trends that cemented themselves within men’s fashion were Aztec or Navajo inspired. With prints/patterns set to be THE major trend for the upcoming spring/summer 2012 season, it comes as no surprise to see even more of these patterns dominating new releases.
Pendleton is a brand that seem to have really embraced the power of the print. They have incorporated a Native American inspired Navajo print on a large majority of their new SS12 range, featuring on everything from clothing to accessories. However, it was the messenger style bag (shown below) that really caught our attention.
This bag is the ideal size for carrying around your belongings whilst on your day to day routine. It is constructed from a mix of fabrics (giving the bag an added tactile appeal), incorporating waxed leather with patterned virgin wool to produce a sleek and stylish aesthetic. This carefully considered mix of luxury fabrics creates a sophisticated and delicate feel – which is by far superior to its rivals on the market at present.
Other details include: two interior pockets (one padded laptop sleeve and one inner zip pocket), zip pocket to back outer, embossed branding, adjustable shoulder strap, twill back, waxed leather flap and trim, and a snap buckle closure.
