Turn back the clock 10 years and I doubt many people outside a 15 mile radius of Middlesbrough would of even heard of Psyche. Fast forward to 2012, and Psyche has established itself as a fashion mecca for men and women alike, not only in the North East but across the UK and internationally – due in no small part to it’s multi award winning website and fashion forward thinking.

Celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year, Psyche has chosen to party in style by integrating designer labels such as Hugo Boss Orange, Ps Paul Smith and Armani jeans into their range of world renowned designer brands. What is truly exciting to us here at FashionBeans is that Psyche is set to launch a William Hunt concession, complete with an area dedicated to the Savile Row Suit Maker. Hunt himself will be officially opening his concession in store on April 7th.

Growing up in the town, I reminisce of Psyche; the high gloss black window surrounds framing the immaculately presented displays, inviting the passing man to look in and marvel at the latest trends with a truly international flavour. In my opinion Psyche is to Middlesbrough what Harrods is to London; a beacon, an icon, and an institution of impeccable sophistication and outstanding heritage.

So let’s celebrate Psyche’s 30th Milestone and wish them many happy returns for the exciting years ahead.
