Armed with this knowledge, Ray-Ban have had the keen sense to give one of their most iconic designs an LDN-tinged makeover, with the limited edition Original Wayfarer London, the eighth entry in their 2012 ‘Special Series’.

The Wayfarer has been a much loved frame since it first hit stores in 1952, and has been famously worn by some of the most influential celebrities and style icons of the 20th and 21st Century.

These eye-catching twists on the classic design highlight exactly why the original Wayfarer has been such an enduring model. The bold patterns feature Union Jack prints and outlined sketches of London landmarks – design ideas which may initially sound gaudy, but when added to the legendary and instantly recognizable Wayfarer silhouette, look slick, contemporary and are sure to turn any fashion-conscious Brit into a believer.

Although the sun’s presence may be sporadic at the moment, the colourful designs and classic shape of these frames make them the ideal accessory for street parties, summer music festivals, or just for adding a splash of something special to a casual outfit.
