Reiss: The Insiders – Part 1
Sophisticated high street retailer Reiss have decided to focus their attention on all things sartorial this month – producing a weekly tailoring feature where they delve into the wardrobes of three of “the most sartorially-pleasing members of the Reiss creative team”. These employees are going to be showcasing some of their favourite looks, in order to give customers an insight into their approach to tailoring and the styling that makes their outfits unique.
When we got wind of this feature we were immediately intrigued. Not only is it a superb way of seeing how each individual puts their own unique stamp on an outfit, but we also have to admit that it’s just nice just to see some of the faces behind the (well established) brand.
The feature includes editorial imagery, a rundown of each individuals essential items and a short Q&A section – taking the feature to the next level and providing a somewhat personal touch.
The three Reiss members who were stylish enough to be featured in Part 1 are:
- Menswear Director – James Spreckley
- Lead Graphic Designer – Philip Bone
- Tailoring Manager – Alex McCart
Although each outfit is sharp and extremely well put together – with attention to detail being thoroughly considered in each look – it was Philip Bone who won the majority of the vote here in the FashionBeans office. The tailored shorts in a soft pastel hue are perfect for the spring/summer 2012 season, with pastel shades set to be a major menswear trend.
The look overall appears effortlessly elegant, with the inclusion of a blazer and loosely tied scarf. The small touches haven’t been over looked either, with accessorises such as a pocket square, pin badge and bag being used to tie the whole look together – all working harmoniously as a collective.
We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait for the next installment in the series – so we can see what the rest of the stylish Reiss team have to offer!
You can check out the feature in its entirety by heading over to the Reiss website.
