Sinstar Clothing SS12 Collection
For those not familiar with the Sinstar brand, the short version of the story is of two guys trying to make it big in the music industry. For a little extra cash they started a t-shirt company out of the back of their tour-bus – a borderline MOT pass VW Hippie van may actually be a more accurate description. Hitting success after a healthy turnaround at the Bread and Butter tradeshow and being featured in a few high-profile magazines, things were looking up for the lads.
While still primarily focusing on the label’s first love, t-shirts, they now have a few extra additions to the Sinstar family. Fresh snapbacks and statement sweaters are the primary direction for autumn/winter, although one feature that has remained throughout each collection is the in-your-face prints and garish colours.
Offsetting well against the upcoming season’s colour-based trends, a lot of the designs come in a deep purple that will contrast well with key hues such as khaki, orange and olive.
Utilising the latest ‘cross’ graphic trend and available at student friendly prices, it’s probably safe to say the target market will not be heading to buy tan brogues and pocket squares afterwards.
However, it is a fun and playful collection that will breathe new life into your existing casual wardrobe, with all pieces sure to garner attention and become a conversation starter.
