The ‘Pop Art’ era – and more specifically, the works of the late Andy Warhol – is the inspiration behind this distinctive spring 2012 footwear collection, which stems from a collaborative effort between Supreme and footwear giant Vans.
More like individual works of art rather than a trainer collection, the range includes some of Vans most popular silhouettes, such as the Authentic, the Sk8 Hi and the Half Cab. Each style sees Andy Warhol’s iconic and instantly recognisable Campbell’s Soup print incorporated into the design in a number of ways – from all over printing to feature panels and accent side sections.
Available in both black and white, they are almost too spectacular to wear – in fear of scuffing them up!
No release date has been confirmed as of yet but word is that there will also be a t-shirt and baseball cap to accompany the release. If these sneakers are anything to go by, we predict that this range will be flying off the shelves this season!
Be sure to check back to FashionBeans for more information on the confirmed release date.
