As the fashion world continues to travel on its vicious cycle – where trends circumnavigate like a merry-go-round – maintaining sartorial standards can be a very challenging task. However daunting this task may be, it is taken to a whole new level when one is required to ‘look the part’ at all times to maintain or achieve a ‘fashionable’ status.
However stereotypical it may be, men spend a lot of their lives engaging in sports or physical activities – and hence many fail to display their stylish nature through use of clothing that focuses entirely on comfort and not caring as much about how they look.
The Kooples are a relatively new, French brand founded in 2008, focused on producing vintage and rock inspired items. The brand has an Anglo-French feel to it, reconciling French and British fashion into one. Their latest collection that has just been released is entitled ‘The Kooples Sport’.
The Kooples Sport collection features many items that will allow you to maintain comfort whilst combining practicality and elegance. The accompanying lookbook displays items of clothing that have a rather preppy feel to them – with the orange and black boat shoes being just one of the stand-out items. French political figure and ex-footballer, Eric Cantona, is the face of this new collection, which automatically gives it an iconic feel.
The items in this new ‘Sport’ line are rather contrasting to the main ‘The Kooples’ range as they have more of a relaxed weekend feel; the main range featuring items with a more bohemian inspired Dandy feel to them.
The Kooples Sport collection features stylish polo shirts in a variety of colours, jersey blazers and slim cut sweatpants which can be combined to give you that touch of class. Perfect for the next time you decide to have a game of tennis; even better if you ask your partner to play with you… ‘The Koople’ way.
