Thomas Codd London Collection Lookbook
For those of you who aren’t yet familiar with the designer, Thomas Codd is the man behind the self-titled, independent menswear brand Thomas Codd London; an up and coming label that you should definitely keep an eye out for throughout 2012!
Successfully selling his work to fashion lovers all over the world via ASOS’ Market Place – as well through fashion boutique Behave in Shoreditch, London – the designer draws inspiration for his collections from British brands and subcultures, including: Punk, Skinhead and Mod fashion.
The current range consists of a wide variety of apparel, featuring all your classic menswear staples.
Key pieces that caught our eye from the collection are those which combined and manipulated textures through their construction. For example, leather and tartan blends, as well as unique bleached denim effects.
The bleached denim effect mentioned above has been incorporated onto an array of different items – including blazers, shirts, outerwear, trousers and jeans. Our favourite from this mini-series comes in the form of the denim bleached shirt. Complete with contrasting collars and cuffs, this piece is available in both long and short sleeves. It is a distinct casual wear item that is going to demand attention and provide the shot of individuality we all strive for.
If you fancy getting your hands on a piece from this innovative and original collection, head over to ASOS Market Place to check out the full range.
