Topman & Loake Footwear Collaboration

Only last week we showcased the unveiling of prestigious British shoemaker Loake’s new London store – which in case you missed it, you can check out here.

However, today we would like to share with you an exciting new collaboration that combines the prestige of Loake with fashion forward high street retailer Topman.

The collection sees three different footwear styles being released, including:

Brogues
Loafers
Brogue Boots

All models come in colour ways of black or oxblood and feature contrasting thick white vibram soles.

The collection incorporates Loake’s trademark classic styling, quality materials and expert craftsmanship with Topman’s youthful influences. This gives the range a modern and contemporary twist, which should appeal to a slightly younger audience than the one Loake are typically associated with.

We would be extremely happy to own any of these styles in our wardrobe, but the fringe tassel loafer in oxblood is at the top of our list. The colour is a statement on its own, immediately drawing attention by steering away from the traditional tones of brown and black that are usually associated with loafers. Not only that, with the sophisticated tassel detailing contrasting against the thick vibram sole, it also blurs the line between smart and casual.
