Previously on FashionBeans, Ben Golland gave you his run down of the stand out items from Urban Outfitters latest spring/summer 2012 collection, and why you should be investing in them this year. Today, it is our pleasure to follow this up and showcase the high street retailer’s full SS12 men’s lookbook.
The lookbook was shot in Elms Lesters Painting Rooms, London, and is quite the visual treat. With the industrial paint stricken background juxtaposed against the mix of both plain and patterned apparel and accessories, it helps create the edgy, youthful aesthetic the brand was after.
The collection itself features a wide variety of key items for the season – with colour, prints and textures all playing a huge part in the range.
An item that immediately caught our attention were the Universal Works Polka Dot Ripstop Shorts. We all know prints are definitely ‘in’ this season, and what better way to rock the trend this summer than with a pair of tailored shorts? The reason this particular pair stood out was due to their subtly, the dark colouring and sparse nature of the pattern is a lot easier to pull off, especially if you haven’t plucked up enough courage to wear full Hawaiian print (just yet).
You can check out the full feature and shop the new collection over at Urban Outfitters.
