Californian footwear brand Vans (whose popularity only seems to soar year after year) has become the best selling trainer brand over at global online fashion retailer ASOS.

So to celebrate this triumph, ASOS have put together a street style feature with the help of photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis – meeting Vans fans from New York City as well as showcasing how a variety of Vans affectionados pull off the skate style shoes on the streets of London.

The series of NYC fan portraits follows a more editorial aesthetic and includes 5 unique individuals – all of which prefer different styles and have different occupations – in order to show how the iconic brand suits many different age ranges as well as the individual user’s needs and tastes.

Included in this series of portraits are: a journalist, a film maker, a young actor, a singer and a barman. [You can see all these editorial shots below.]
