If you aren’t acquainted with Vicomte A.; do so quickly. The luxury French clothing brand, created in 2005 by France’s King of Prep, Vicomte Arthur de Soultrait, is going international – with shops in Kuwait and London opening earlier this year. With the modern connoisseur of luxury in mind, Vicomte A. is almost a new Ralph Lauren, complete with a certain French “je ne sais quoi”.

As the SS12 clothes start to go on sale online and in store, the AW12 line is beginning to be stocked under the new season’s themes of “Crans Montana” ( a ski resort in Switzerland) and “Gastinne Renette” (a French duelling pistol).

The AW12 collection maintains the brand’s vision of luxurious, wearable, colourful clothing with a sporting twist. The shooting inspired “Gastinne Renette” line of jumpers and long and short sleeved polo shirts would look great for a day out in the country or city dwelling; while the “Crans Montana” range will keep your warm après ski this winter.

With high prospects and even designing the French Olympic team’s ties for London 2012, there’s no doubt that Vicomte A. shall be joining the long and illustrious line of French brands that are set to take over British shores… but with a VIP pass of course!
