Over the past two years, British brand Weekend Offender has gone from strength to strength. They have managed to garner a huge cult following amongst fashion enthusiasts and celebrities alike, with their garments recently being sported by artists such as: Plan B, Rizzle Kicks and Example. Not bad for a brand which started life as a small t-shirt collection in the basement of a clothing store!
Following on from this recent success, the brand has recently been able to open the doors to their first ever flagship store on D’arblay Street, Central Soho.
The brand have just released a selection of clothing from their new SS12 collection, and the accompanying campaign imagery [see below] certainly shows it off to the fullest. Outfits are created utilising many of the key pieces from the range which include: shorts, casual shirting, printed/patterned t-shirts and a wide selection of bold outerwear.
One of the stand out pieces for us here in the FashionBeans office is the Maddison Jacket. Featuring a two tone, contrasting colour way of red and beige, it’s was the small and intricate detailing that really caught our eye – slick wooden buttons, branded toggles, inner seems bounded by chambray and a feature pocket to the back give the design character and individuality.
Judging by this superb new collection, we only expect Weekend Offender’s popularity to increase rapidly going forward.
