As we are currently in full swing celebrating all that is British, it seems an appropriate time to raise awareness of one brand that has helped define our unique ‘working man’ style. Having long been considered at the forefront of this timeless trend, Wolsey has done much to establish and sustain this functional approach to fashion.

With an ongoing aim to rework and modernise vintage styles, Wolsey have become recognised as a brand that produces durable clothing for the everyday man. Their SS12 menswear collection is no exception to this.

Working within a traditionally British palette of white, red and navy hues, the collection offers classic cuts and simple, practical separates. As well as the recurring influence from British labourers, it is also evident that sport has played a part in affecting the designs. Polo’s appear within the collection, as do other tops that include similar features to those seen on a traditional rugby shirt. This not only makes the range more accessible but also strengthens the relevance of it in regards to this summer’s events.
