Part one of this read introduced you to the brand Worn By – a retailer (and now designer) renowned for their edgy, vintage inspired t-shirts. Each of which takes a nostalgic look at some of the world’s most iconic moments and people.
The reason I split this article into two parts is so we could enlighten those who were unaware of the Worn By brand to begin with; then explore their new collaboration with London fashion label DavidDavid and their Gymbox collection in part two. So here goes…
DavidDavid is a men’s and women’s fashion label based in London. The designs are androgynous yet bursting with colour – something unusual in this style of clothing. Vibrant geometric patterns flood over scarves, jumpers and even umbrellas. Standing out from the crowd is not an issue for this brand.
Gymbox is a chain of Gyms operating in London. This is the first time they have had a whole collection created for them, let alone one by such innovative design teams. The outcome has suggestions of active wear, which is perfectly inline with the key influences within the industry at present. DavidDavid’s inspirational use of colour and pattern has a strong presence, whilst Worn By’s relaxed styling completes the collection.
This collaboration is of limited stock, and I mean very limited. Only 150 t-shirts have been made, spread across 8 different styles – including both the men’s and women’s wear. Not to worry, I added the link to where you can buy them here to save you some time. You’re welcome.
