Wrangler Blue Bell Spring/Summer 2012 Campaign
The latest spring/summer 2012 ‘Blue Bell’ campaign from denim brand Wrangler sees the brand enlist the help of their favoured photographer, Boo George, to shoot the campaign imagery. With half the imagery shot in black and white and half in colour, the outcome is visually stunning.
The inspiration behind the shoot stems from Jeff Decker, a sculptor who is passionate about mechanical items such as cars and motorcycles.
Modelled by Paraskevas Boubourakas and shot in the rugged desert region of Utah, the two combine to help capture the brand’s worker/cowboy-esque clothing collection perfectly. The backdrop of the industrial workshop also reflects the market Wrangler was targeting with this new rugged collection – a real man’s man who is not afraid to get his hands dirty.
Overall, this is a campaign that has been well thought out and wonderfully caught on camera. It is almost editorial in quality, and we cant wait until the next instalment from the brand.
