Yoox: Inspired By Jagger Collection
Founded in 2000, Yoox plays host to just about every name ever accredited in the history of fashion. After countless collaborations and partnerships, they arrive this summer at a Jagger influenced selection of clothing (Bianca for the ladies and of course Mick for us men).
Exuding Mick’s effortless rock ‘n’ roll style whilst tying in what Yoox have described as ‘Ibiza’s summer of love’, they have taken existing pieces from a variety of designers and created what the perfect summer wardrobe would look like for a Jagger cruise collection.
What can only be described as traditional Mick style plays a strong part in the choices of clothing. Camel and tan moccasins, printed shirts and ethnic waistcoats are but a few laid to inspiration for the collection. D&G, McQueen, YSL and Demeulemeester are some of the names that have designed for Yoox and have qualified to be cool enough for a feature in this Jagger Spring/Summer line.
The words ‘there is something for everyone’ are often thrown around a lot in fashion, however in this particular case there are shirts, T-shirts and pocket squares starting from around £40, all the way up to a Valentino suit priced £860 for those looking to really pull off that Jagger swagger.
You can take it or leave it (like what I did there) but for me this collection epitomises summer chic – to be honest, I wouldn’t feel too shabby turning up to the neighbours BBQ in any attire influenced by the King of Cool.
