Austin Reed At The Brits 2013
Following on from the success of the clothing on display at the BAFTA Awards, came the Brit Awards and, for many, a chance to see how the stars of the music world and afar injected their sartorial style away from the studios.
Whilst the styles on show came from a myriad of different outlets, Austin Reed have dutifully put together a lookbook of looks that will allow you to pitch yourself against the best on show. What’s even better is they have used their latest success story – the AR Red x Nick Hart collection.
Leading the charge down the red carpet was Suit & Tie star Justin Timberlake – and whilst we may not be able to dance like him, you can be sure to get the look similar to him. Austin Reed suggest sporting their perfectly fitted AR Red x Nick Hart Charcoal Suit, round collar shirt and matching black spot tie and handkerchief to get the JT look.
Next up were band of the moment, One Direction. With each individual member always putting a unique spin on their outfits you wont be far off the mark in choosing an AR Red x Nick Hart black shawl tuxedo suit, round collar shirt and accessorising with an AR Red Nick Hart white silk handkerchief.
Whilst the London Olympics are now a mere distant memory, the stars of the summer are still making waves. Swapping the Speedos for a more tailored attire isn’t always a seamless transition, although Tom Daley showed it can be done, and done well. Take Austin Reed’s contemporary fit black Gaberdine Jacket, contemporary fit black trousers, AR cut white shirt and a charcoal silk tie. This winning combination would be a winner both on and off the red carpet.
Continuing with the contemporary fit suiting, a grey sharkskin AR contemporary fit three piece, charcoal silk tie and pristine AR cut white shirt will ensure your outfit will ring out to the sound of the trumpets, similar to how one half of Rizzle Kicks, Jordan ‘Rizzle’ Stephens looked as he worked the pre Brit Award flashbulbs.
Finally, if you are opting for a more traditional look, similar to Bryan Ferry of Roxy Music fame, then the heritage of Austin Reed’s suiting is extremely close to the mark. Wearing an AR cut navy crisp jacket and trousers, white Oxford shirt and AR Red x Nick Hart navy tie, all you need now is the red carpet and your gong as the prized accessory!
