Burt’s Bees Skincare
Natural skincare pioneers Burt’s Bees has released a skincare line aimed at men. The American brand, known for its chemical-free approach, has created four products: a shaving cream, aftershave balm, body wash and bar soap.
Burt’s Bees has become a recognisable name on the British high street in recent years. Originating in Maine in the 1980s, the business began when co-founder Roxanne Quimby started making candles from Burt Shavitz’s leftover beeswax. This led to the release of other products and has since developed into a complete grooming and personal care range, made entirely with ethical and natural ingredients.
The shaving cream, coming in a 170g bottle for £8.99, is 100 per cent natural, formulated with glycerin and coconut oil to generate a rich and lubricated lather. This combination is designed to soften hair for a close and comfortable shave, whilst leaving skin smooth and moisturised. Fresh citrus oils and energising bergamot are delivered alongside a crisp, woody scent.
The aftershave balm comes in a 75ml bottle for £8.99. The brand believes the combination of sunflower and coconut oils, aloe vera and vitamin E will moisturise and shield skin from the harsh effects of shaving.
The body wash and bar soap, priced at £9.99 and £4.99 respectively, are engineered as revitalising morning products. Both clean away dirt and odour, leaving skin refreshed and smelling good thanks to their citrus fruit formula.
The Burt’s Bees Natural Skincare for Men range is available now from selected independent stores nationwide or online at BurtsBees.co.uk.
