The illustration on the box was of an old factory building encompassed in a vine of flowers, underlined with an elaborate banner that reads ‘finest quality undergarments’, whilst the logo featured a strapping young man dressed in traditional undergarment attire.
Choctaw Ridge now utilises the very same box for their packaging. Printed in black and white, it adds to the historical reference that harks back to the classic values of the 1930s – where people bought the best they could afford and seldom more than they required. To reaffirm their stance, each item is also sold with a signature letterpress hangtag, detailing the label’s intentions and ethos.
