With this in mind, Dodd is an up and coming British label who has recently released their own AW13 lookbook. Heavily focused on silhouette and shape, this promising display showcases a range of boxy cuts, hinting that this fit could be a key style come the latter months of 2013.
In a seasonally appropriate palette of charcoal, navy and red, jackets and coats are paired with dress shirts and loose trousers to create a look of refined simplicity. Detailing appears in the form of bold swan motifs and contrasting stripes, whilst the use of the finest wool and cashmere is key to the collection’s aesthetic – giving each piece a look and feel of quality.
Notable pieces include the navy and red contrast striped coats, however the stand out piece is the ‘swan coat’. Incorporating an all over back motif, this fine design is quirky yet manages to remain classic in both style and fit.
