Glen Check Colour Twist Scarves
Purveyors of luxury wool and cashmere accessories since 1797, Johnstons of Elgin give a modern twist to a timeless style with the release of their new Glen check colour twist scarves.
Made from 100 per cent cashmere, these beautiful scarves feature a Glen check print to one side, along with a bold, solid colour on the reverse and twisted tassel ends.
For those that aren’t aware, Glen check is commonly known as Prince of Wales check. The original Glen check comes from Glenurqhart in Invernesshire, Scotland where Bertie, the Prince of Wales, used to shoot. The now ‘Glen check’ was tweed used on the grounds, which the Prince fell in love with and began to use, himself.
The colour twist scarves are, as you expect being made of cashmere, supremely soft, feel great on the skin and are a lightweight style – making them the perfect accent piece for the coming autumn and winter.
The Glen check’s refined appearance ensures these scarves can be paired with your tailoring for work, whilst the boldly coloured reverse offers a surprising inject of colour that will help transition your outfit into the evening.
Now Royal Warrant holders, Johnstons of Elgin offer exceptional expertise in cashmere and fine woollens. With every scarf produced still woven in Scotland, they are the last remaining vertical woollen mill in the country.
The colour twist scarves are available in three colour ways: Navy and Orange, Charcoal and Teal, and Charcoal and Pink. The scarves measure 160 X 30cm (62.5 X 11.7″) and are dry clean only.
You can buy them now online at johnstonscashmere.com, priced at £135.
