Larsson & Jennings AW13
Larsson & Jennings, the Swedish brand behind a minimal movement in watch-making, have released their autumn/winter 2013 range. The anticipated collection accords with the brand’s typically contemporary aesthetic, a look largely attributed to the classic circular clock face.
The two key releases of the latest range are the Läder and Chain Metal designs. The former sports a formal aesthetic, aided by the Italian calf leather strap. The concluding model offers a contrast to this, coming in a plated stainless steel design. Both watches, along with the rest of the collection, come with mineral crystal sapphire glass and a Ronda 762 movement, ensuring the timepieces are produced to the highest quality standards.
In addition to their established range of on-wrist accessories – the Scandinavian brand is also recognised for their Kulor watch, which emulates a nautical style – this season sees the creative’s release a number of limited edition timepieces.
The stand out result comes from of a unique collaboration with London label Dashing Tweed. The partnership sees the Hackney-based design house take responsibility for producing a 100 per cent British wool strap. The striking ‘Red Sergeant’ chevron pattern, combined with the signature Larsson & Jennings watch face, exemplifies how different styles can blend together to create a completely unique and stylish accessory.
Two other noteworthy models of the AW13 range include the Svart and Kolmården. The Svart is a sleek, dark design, coming in two jet-black tones with chrome accents. However, the Kolmården offers a more overt style, finished with a camouflage strap and gold plated fastenings.
