LEFT: London Emerging Fashion Talent
A new digital publication has graced the online fashion industry. LEFT: London Emerging Fashion Talent, is a free email newsletter which interviews rising designers and creatives from the London fashion scene. What’s more, the publication is headed up by FashionBeans news contributor Mark Bonington. The first issue, which is available to view below, features an interview with the darkly gothic Nik Thakkar – who forms one half of the menswear brand Ada + Nik. Having launched their SS14 collection during the London Collection: MEN this year, Nik discusses his inspirations, style and fashion influences. Future interviews which have been lined up include actress-turned-jewellery-designer Sarah Eyton and womenswear designer Adam X, who after graduating from the University for the Creative Arts worked for Alexander McQueen before founding his own label. LEFT is a celebration of London fashion, both mens and womenswear, highlighting the world class talent and style of the city. Alongside the interview, readers will have the chance to view a gallery of images from the featured designer’s latest collection and win prizes simply by re-tweeting the issue.
