Levi’s x Porter Capsule Collection
Commemorating a hundred and forty years at the top of the denim game, Levi’s has teamed up with cult Japanese brand Porter. The joint venture sees a celebratory capsule collection go into production, rendered in the same fabric used on the brand’s iconic 501 jeans.
The result is a sturdy and stylish set of luggage, constructed in a mixture of denim and waterproof nylon with bronze hardware details.
The majority of the pieces are American made, procured from textile manufacturing company Cone Denim Mills, blended with hardy cordura fabric to add rugged durability. Red piping – featured on the lining and exterior Porter logo of each bag – acts both as a tasteful colour contrast and symbolic nod to Levi’s signature tab.
The collection is made up of three styles: a backpack, tote and waist bag. Each is available in dark raw and distressed pre-washed blue colour ways.
A perfect ode to Levi’s continued domination of the denim industry, the Levi’s x Porter 140th anniversary capsule collection is available now in a limited run of only 501 pieces at the Levi’s Shibuya and Harajuku stores in Japan, as well as online at Levi.jp.
Prices range from approximately £114 to £224.
