London Collections: MEN – Katie Eary AW13
If print is your passion when it comes to fashion, then the AW13 collection from Katie Eary could well be the one to catch your eye. Titled ‘Dead Inside’, the collection appears to be inspired by the current global focus on the underworld and vampires. Appearing both dark and daring, each piece has been created with an intelligent and highly creative eye. Working in a rich palette of red, pink and bold blues created a fresh and vibrant display with a modern Gothic undertone. As we are aware, statement print has dominated the runways for the past few seasons and this trend doesn’t appear to be shifting any time soon. However, in a bid to stand out from the crowd, Eary has adopted this trend and modified it to achieve a dark urban edge. With floral designs working their way through each look, both colours and designs are clashed and matched to form unique looks that are entirely eye catching.
