Majestic Athletic Varsity Jackets
American label Majestic Athletic have hit UK stores with their on trend collection of sport-inspired varsity jackets.
The brand was established in 1976 in Tampa, Florida, and they have been producing baseball-inspired sportswear ever since – gaining their first licensing agreement with MIB (Major League Baseball) in 1985 and by 2005, securing the contract to be the sole provider of the authentic jerseys for all thirty MLB teams.
The varsity jacket has become a modern wardrobe staple and a fundamental piece for helping create that highly desirable American collegiate aesthetic. It’s no wonder that the outerwear style is seasonally reworked by both high fashion designers and the high street alike.
