Molton Brown x Giles Deacon Collaboration
Molton Brown’s collection of unisex perfumes, bath and shower gels, candles and hand care products – as well as instantly recognisable packaging and branding – has led to them becoming the go-to brand for luxury grooming in Britain. All of the company’s products are created by award winning perfumers and skincare experts, ensuring the highest quality products possible for the consumer.
To celebrate their 40th year anniversary the brand have collaborated with a fellow Brit, fashion designer Giles Deacon, to create something special to mark the occasion. The circular candle ‘snuff lid’ is limited to just 400 pieces worldwide and features an engraved signature Deacon design surrounding the Molton Brown branding, along with the designer’s signature.
On the collaboration Deacon says: “I love Molton Brown – it’s a brand I have grown up with. They have always been champions of quirky, colourful design and are proud of their strong British heritage, which is something I admire. I wanted to create a timeless design that nods to seventies London style – a bit eccentric but fun with a sense of humour.”
The snuff lid complements the brand’s recently launched anniversary edition Patchouli & Saffron Single Wick Candle, which is part of a wider collection of grooming products. The candle’s fragrance features top notes of hot pimento berry, caraway and bergamot, and is blended in London.
Completing the Patchouli & Saffron anniversary collection is a limited edition gift set, which contains a full size body wash and body lotion presented in a colourful zip bag – again featuring a retro 1970s bottle print pattern.
