Mulberry x Selfridges Collection
To celebrate the grand opening of Mulberry’s menswear space in London’s iconic luxury department store, Selfridges & Co., the luggage and lifestyle brand has created an exclusive line of products. The line is Mulberry’s latest remarkable attempt at proving they can make the same impact in the realm of menswear as they have the world of womenswear. The new collection, which will be solely available from Selfridges, includes the Brynmore, the Brynmore tote, an iPad folio and an eight-card wallet. The Brynmore, which retails at £850, is a classic messenger bag that is suitable for everyday wear. Featuring three iconic postman’s locks, it comes complete with a cross-body carry strap made of canvas. The tote variation of the Brynmore (RRP £995) is a similar beast, with the main difference being that it bears two handles on the top of the bag and a longer strap, featuring an additional detachable function. The iPad folio-style carrying case (£375) is a smart, soft container designed to hold an iPad or similarly sized tablet computer. With an uncomplicated metal zipper, it will keep your pride and joy safe whilst making a stylish impression due to its textured blue leather. Finally, the eight-card bi-fold wallet (£175) is exactly what you’d expect, albeit with that extra touch of Mulberry’s signature elegance. The entire collection incorporates a slice of luxury into everyday luggage essentials, with each piece being made of grainy print leather in a dyed slate blue finish and featuring details of traditionally masculine gunmetal.
