Nike Free 5.0 Trainers
Nike has launched its new range for summer 2013, equipping style-conscious runners with everything they need to get outside, stay cool and enjoy the warm weather.
At the forefront of the collection are the new Nike Free 5.0 trainers. The £85 shoe is the latest addition to the Nike Free family and the most advanced and comfortable version of the trainers to date. Coming off the back of years of development and innovation, the 5.0 is the first Free model to incorporate Nike’s Flywire technology, which helps deliver a dynamic, glove-like fit.
For those that aren’t aware, the Free range of running shoes feature lightweight mesh on the uppers to provide optimal ventilation, whilst the deep cut grooves running along the length and width of the midsole enhance flexibility and help maintain stability during exercise.
The trainers also feature a low profile midsole to give a ‘barefoot feel’ when running, with a 8mm difference between heel and forefoot for added cushioning. The natural motion running encouraged by the midsole can help to strengthen foot muscles, increase foot flexibility and improve balance.
The 5.0 upper is constructed of panels and comes in a variety of colour ways – from a classic black/grey pairing to more colourful neon options. The highlight combination is the orange on navy, both trend colours for SS13, helping bring a touch of style to your workout.
However, for a truly personal touch, customers have the option of building their own pair online via Nike ID. Giving you the option to get creative, you have the freedom to choose the colours of the sole, tongue, laces, lining and Nike swoosh. The ID version is priced slightly higher at £105 and takes around four weeks for delivery.
So for a functional, style-conscious running shoe this season, look no further than the Nike Free 5.0.
