American designer, Charles Eames, once famously said that “The details are not the details. They make the design.” London based design collective, Parka London, provide us with a début collection which fits Eames’ very description.
Parka have a very conclusive objective: to create traditional pieces which combine originality with a modern, contemporary make up. To ensure each item is dubbed a stand out and forward thinking piece, Parka incorporate inventive detailing such as detachable hoods, luxe linings, secret drawstrings and distinctive silhouettes. The brand holds a concrete belief that it is the innate details and idiosyncrasies that help create an overall strong look.
The brand’s aim is to ensure a passionate love affair exists between you and your coat. It’s effortless style personified; throwing it on, feeling great and having faith in your coat.
The label offers parkas for both women and men. Confidence best describes the male collection, whilst a sense of grace and charm infiltrates the female silhouettes.
