Pretty Green x The White Guitar Collection
Pretty Green has collaborated with renowned graphic artist Jamie Hewlett to produce a limited edition collection of t-shirts to support the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Hewlett is best known as co-creator of the virtual band, Gorillaz. The charity range features three designs, all with a white guitar as the stand-out motif. Styles feature classic poses inspired by rock idols: Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy, Pete Townshend of The Who and the original modfather, Paul Weller.
The t-shirts fit perfectly with Pretty Green’s rich musical heritage. The label has previously taken inspiration from the Rolling Stones and The Beatles, as well as Liam Gallagher himself.
On the collaboration, Gallagher says: “This is a charity close to my heart and something I continue to support both personally and through Pretty Green, Jamie’s designs are timeless like me!”
Around seven young people aged between thirteen and twenty-four are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. The Teenage Cancer Trust is the only dedicated charity to support teenagers diagnosed and also to educate kids in schools for earlier diagnosis and treatment.
The unique designs feature on Pretty Green t-shirts in red, green and blue. The collection is available to buy online now at PrettyGreen.com alongside limited edition prints of the artwork, and a white guitar pin badge. All proceeds from the t-shirts, which cost £55, will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust.
