Quiksilver Mountain Division
King of the mountain, Quiksilver has applied its technical knowledge to snow gear for a capsule collection of jackets and gilets. The brand, which has sponsored world champion snowboarders since 1987, spent more than a year in development turning its attention to cold-weather components with urban style.
Inspired by the outdoors, the Mountain Division line features a range of raincoats and soft shells equipped with a durable water repellent treatment.
The updated offering also includes three additional styles designed for harsher weather conditions in the form of a gilet, parka and puffer jacket. Each piece utilises high-performance Primaloft Synergy Insulation; an innovative technology that keeps the wearer warm and dry while remaining extremely lightweight.
Commenting at launch, Senior Vice President of Quiksilver Design Matt Anderson said: “Bob [McKnight] has always had this vision to make everything you need for everything you want to do — you shouldn’t have to go to other brands just because you’re doing other activities.”
Ensuring functionality doesn’t sacrifice style, the Mountain Division line comes in a mustard camouflage across the three new styles and features a corduroy yoke on the puffer jacket.
