Reiss Debut Fragrances
High street fashion staple Reiss is taking serious steps to expand its already impressive range of products for the autumn season, with the brand releasing a new fragrance collection this September.
It will be Reiss’ first foray out of apparel and accessories and into beauty products, and is sure to make a fitting addition to the fortieth anniversary celebrations of a brand whose commitment to innovation and style is well established.
The male-targeted fragrance in the range, Black Oudh for Men Eau de Parfum, is a bold, woody, grassy fragrance that boasts top notes of Laurel Leaf and green Cypress with middle notes of Sequoia Wood, Clary Sage and Vetiver. It is rounded off with a base comprising the titular Black Oudh along with Black Musk and Amber.
With strong wood and moss notes, expect Black Oudh for Men to be a powerfully masculine fragrance with the potential to become a muscular signature scent.
The carefully curated ingredients for the scents were hand-picked by brand founder and managing director David Reiss, along with award-winning perfumer Azzi Glasser, of The Family Three fragrance consultancy, who has previously designed fragrances for Hugo Boss and Jack Wills, among others.
The Black Oudh for Men Eau de Parfum is joined and complemented by a Grey Flower for Women Eau de Parfum, for those in the market for his-and-hers scents.
The collection is expected to be exclusively available for purchase from Selfridges to begin with, before being awarded a wider release in brick-and-mortar stores as well as online fragrance/Reiss product stockists.
