Staunton Moods Shirts
Belgian label Staunton Moods have recently launched their debut UK collection, featuring an array of classic shirting complete with hidden twists and colourful designs. The brand offer high quality men’s shirts, made from the finest Austrian and Italian 100% cotton fabric, finished with graphic and illustrative prints. However, these prints are restricted to the internal linings of the cuffs and collars, as well as the placket, meaning that they can be worn discreetly during office hours. After hours, all it takes is a roll of your cuffs or a pop of your collar and suddenly your outfit is given an unexpected shot of vibrancy and life. Exclusive designs, superior quality and low maintenance (all shirts are non-iron) are the core principles of the collection, with seven different variations available that include: Kittens, Ghoulies, Manga, Comic, Jungle, Wonderland and Classic prints. Among the collection highlights are the jungle designs, which come in day and night versions. Both styles feature a slim cut with a floral print present on the inside of the collar, placket and cuffs. The day design utilises a palette of red, pink and navy flowers set against a white base, whilst the night version comes in a similar palette set against a dark navy backdrop. The Manga collection is perhaps the most playful option; from afar it could pass as on trend camouflage but upon a closer inspection you discover robots and Japanese Manga comic book characters in pink, brown and blue colour ways. Overall, Staunton Moods have created a fun collection of shirts that remain classic on the outside yet have a distinctive, characteristic twist ready to be revealed.
