Supreme x Clarks Spring/Summer Desert Boot
The Clarks desert boot has seen a massive surge in popularity over the past few years, and for good reason. The timeless shape is the essence of smart-casual footwear – no other style does it better and, interestingly, no one but Clarks has. All others simply seem like imitations.
However, the coming season will play host to Supreme’s very own Clarks desert boot. The streetwear brand has been going since 1994 but wasn’t really known on an international scale until it started being championed by Tyler, The Creator and his weird and wonderful friends. More recently, the Supreme’s owner, James Jebbia, has been linked to a court case which sees him suing Married To The Mob owner Leah McSweeney over trademark infringement.
Anyway, back to the boot; the nubuck suede shoes will be available in deep red, forest green and neutral stone colour ways, with each featuring a printed map pattern. The two rich colours are perfect for the coming season but the stone should suit anyone who wishes to tone it down or strives for versatility within their wardrobe.
These are definitely a pair of boots you will want to show off, so look to partner with shorts or rolled up legwear (and make sure those ankle socks are tucked out of site).
