Graphic tees have long populated the high street in interesting, cool formats with no actual meaning behind the print. The Vanity Project has combined exciting illustrations with a sense of pride and meaning in each T-shirt. The name originated from the idea of looking into the mirror each morning and deciding if your reflection represents your values.
Realising that many t-shirt collections sold to raise money for particular charities were not appealing to men or the fashion industry, co-founders Omri Bojko and Jason Sochol decided to design unique tees that would stand alone as a fashion item yet still represents charity organisations. The brand collaborates with up to 30 charities, such as Twist Out Cancer and The Story Pirates, donating 51% of their net profits.
The Vanity Project redesigns the organisations logo to create an illustration that is stylish and appealing to a contemporary audience, and the takes on the cost of buying and printing the t-shirts – an area which many charities are unable to afford. Post printing, The Vanity Project supports the marketing effort by selling the tees in their own store and through other retailers.
Would you like your next printed tee to make a bold fashion statement about a worthwhile cause? Purchasing an item from The Vanity Project will promote each charity and support the evolution of a fashion industry with a conscience. They are a brand that truly understands the link of creative, inspiring designs with an injection of honesty and good will.
