Topman LTD Re-launch
FashionBeans often adheres to the old adage ‘stick to what you do best’, but sometimes it’s good to break out of familiar territory. A prime example of this is when Topman first launched their Topman LTD line; moving away from trend-centric pieces for the first time and focusing on wearable classics, the high street brand created a range of timeless staples that would remain core pieces in your wardrobe for many seasons to come.
It has been four years since the first LTD collection launched and whilst the LTD ethos still rings true, Topman have updated it somewhat with the release of its new LTD collection: Pitwall.
Whilst previous collections have been rolled out in limited production runs, Topman LTD will now be evolving into an all-encompassing range that is available all year round. The line will feature a selection of core basics that continue to form the foundations of any man’s wardrobe, whilst seasonal drops of more trend-led garments will be released each month.

The new Pitwall collection draws its design influence from the golden age of motor sports (the 1940s for non petrol heads) and all things track-side. Classic outerwear such as Harrington jackets are emblazoned with retro appliqués and timeless leather jackets are beaten and brown (a refreshing change from the current industry penchant for black biker jackets). T-shirts are given a vintage twist with graphics applied to the back, whilst the sweaters are clean and crisp and come in a striking mustard hue.
Overall, we wholeheartedly welcome Topman’s approach to this new look LTD collection. Its focus and breadth of clothing has been extended from catering simply for fashion forward young males to men of all ages with a range of modern classics that will help your wardrobe effortlessly transition from summer through to autumn.
