Versace SS14 Campaign
Actor Nolan Funk has been revealed as the face of Versace for spring/summer 2014. The 27-year-old Canadian, best known for his role in Glee, has been called in to front the campaign shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. The Italian fashion house has already released three teaser shots showing Funk in three different looks. The black and white images were photographed in London under the artistic direction of Giovanni Bianco. The results are stripped down, showing Funk against a plain background with more focus on the clothing line. On selecting the actor, the fashion house’s artistic director, Donatella Versace said: “I love our new Versace menswear campaign. Nolan brings these iconic Versace pieces to life with his energy and spirit. The campaign is full of the essence of Versace, now and forever.” Versace’s SS14 line is expected to be a reference back to iconic pieces from their history, updated for 2014. The collection will be available from Versace stores and Versace.com in January 2014.
