E-Tail To Target International Trade

Savile Row tailor Anderson & Sheppard has launched an e-commerce platform for its haberdashery store with the aim of building on its UK presence with international delivery. The new online shop sells clothing – including shirts, knitwear, and trousers – as well nightwear, swimwear, accessories and homeware. According to outlined plans, stock will be taken directly from the bricks-and-mortar location on Clifford Street, London. A statement from the business said: “Every order will be personally picked and packed by Audie Charles and her team at the shop. Existing customers can be reassured that everything will be checked with the same personal attention that they have come to expect and new customers can get to know the haberdashery before they visit.” However, in a bid to maintain its tradition of bespoke dressing, online shoppers will not be able to buy ready-to-wear or made-to-measure suits. The haberdashery opened in 2012 to target passing and foreign trade and complement the bespoke shop located at 32 Old Burlington Street. Anderson & Sheppard’s online haberdashery store is live now. Prices start from £10 for handkerchiefs and £120 for British knitwear.
