Tailoring Firm Rejoins AW14 Menswear Collection
London-based tailoring label Bespoke HQ has teamed up with car manufacturer Aston Martin once again on a new 17-piece AW14 menswear collection.
The ready-to-wear line, which comprises of two- and three-piece suits, alongside jacket and trouser separates, moves away from previous seasons with a greater number of relaxed cuts.
Loro Piana silk, wool and linen mix Italian fabrics have been used in colours including grey, green and blue in plain and check varieties.
Blazer and suit jackets come in lined, half-lined or unlined options while seams are bias bound with an Aston Martin print lining.
According to a statement, pockets and lapels are intended to mirror the lines of the Aston Martin DB4, first released in 1958.
Bespoke HQ’s creative director, Stephen Williams, spoke of the similarities between the two brands: “Form, design and performance have always been important to me as a tailor and these are obviously qualities prevalent in a car such as the Aston Martin.”
“For me it was easy to see where their classic design tendencies would meet mine,” he added.
