Boxfresh’s Fresh Out The Box Event
Various east London venues have agreed to help British brand Boxfresh celebrate its 25th anniversary.
Earlier in the year the label announced it would be putting on the same number of events to mark the occasion across 2014.
Number seven in the schedule, Fresh Out The Box, will offer young people the opportunity to attend free lectures and workshops in London run by figureheads of British urban culture.
The curated day of events will include talks by streetwear designers such as Nike collaborator Fred Butler, Sneakerpedia brand ambassador Kish Kash and B-Side founder Wale.
Other experts such as Goldie and Ewen Spencer have been confirmed to speak about everything from graffiti to photography.
A tattoo design workshop run by London Ink artist Nikole Lowe will follow, before an after party with live music from the likes of Lil Silva and Coby Sey.
The brand’s Senior Marketing Executive, Gemma Little, told FashionBeans: “Of the Boxfresh 25 events so far, Fresh Out The Box is the initiative we are most proud of.”
Lyst Studios (formerly White Cube), Hoxton Arches and Kachette have been revealed as the three locations.
The events are being tied in with the brand’s ’25′ capsule line, which consists of twelve pieces of clothing and four footwear designs.
Registration for free tickets to the lectures and workshops, which will take place on May 17th, is open now on the Boxfresh 25 mini-site. Entry to the after party on the same day costs £5 per person and can also be purchased online.
