London Shopping Night In Partnership With GQ Returns
Carnaby Style Night, the one day only event designed to celebrate men’s fashion, is to return to the capital for a third consecutive year, its organisers have announced. The famous London shopping area, made up of Carnaby Street and 12 others, are to be transformed between 5-9pm on Thursday 11th September into a shoppable party. Held in partnership with GQ magazine, the event will see more than 100 shops, restaurants and bars offer a 20 per cent discount on purchases. Fashion brands already signed up include Paul Smith, Fred Perry, Barbour, Lazy Oaf, Scotch & Soda and Pretty Green. Music will be provided by a DJ set from model Ricki Hall in Lyle & Scott, live performance by alternative band New City Kings at the Replay store and three sets from The Carnaby’s on a specially built stage on Ganton Street. Purchase is not necessary as 50 free experiences will also be on offer, including whiskey tasting, a shoe shining service and F1 simulator. A number of master classes, trend talks, fashion guides and expert advice sessions from the fashion team at British GQ will run throughout the evening at the magazine’s own designated pop-up space. On the night style scouts will be looking to track down the most stylish shoppers who will be awarded a £100 goody bag. A full list of participating brands, the evening’s schedule and free entry tickets are available online now. Ticketed attendees will be entered into a prize draw to win a £500 Carnaby gift card, dinner for two, night out at Cirque Le Soir and a personal style session.
